He is a leading expert in Cardiology in Vietnam. After graduating as a Doctor of Medicine specializing in Cardiology from Saigon Medical University, Dr. Vinh went to France to practise for two years. In 1997, he successfully defended his Doctor of Medicine thesis at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City and was conferred the title of Associate Professor in 2002.
With more than 50 years of experience in clinical settings and research in cardiovascular medicine, he assumed the role of Head of the Cardiology Department of Nguyen Tri Phuong Hospital, Deputy Director of Heart Institute of Ho Chi Minh City, Medical Director of Tam Duc Heart Hospital. He is currently the Director of the Cardiology Center, Tam Anh General Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, Head of the Internal Medicine Department – Tan Tao Medical University, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Echocardiography, and Vice Chairman of the Association.
