Prof. Dr. med. Matthias Gutberlet currently serves as the Head of Diagnostic Imaging at the Leipzig Heart Center, Germany. Furthermore, he has held a full professorship in Cardiovascular Imaging at Leipzig University since 2007.

Throughout his career, Prof. Gutberlet has assumed significant international leadership roles, including President of the European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology (ESCR) and President of the Cardiovascular Radiology section of the German Roentgen Society (DRG). Additionally, he has made substantial scientific contributions to top-tier medical journals, such as European Radiology, Circulation, JACC, and the European Heart Journal.

With profound expertise in conventional X-ray, computed tomography (CT), multi-detector computed tomography (MDCT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), his direct guidance will equip attending physicians with contemporary diagnostic approaches and valuable clinical insights.
