Event Announcement: “International Workshop And Training In Otorhinolaryngology”

Tam Anh Research Institute and Tam Anh General Hospital in HCMC will host an international otorhinolaryngology workshop and training program on December 6-7, 2024, bringing together leading experts, professors, and physicians from around the world. The event is co-organized by the International Federation of Otorhinolaryngological Societies (IFOS), the ASEAN Otorhinolaryngological – Head & Neck Federation, and the Vietnam Society of Otorhinolaryngology.

Tam Anh General Hospital is honored to sponsor the venue and contribute scientific reports, with its experts and doctors actively participating and chairing sessions to ensure the event’s success.

The program will feature keynote presentations by prominent international leaders in otorhinolaryngology, including:

• Prof Bernard Fraysse – Former President of IFOS and Head of the Otorhinolaryngology Department at Toulouse University Hospital, Purpan Hospital, France
• Prof Angel Ramos Macias – IFOS Secretary-General and Director of Medical and Surgical Sciences, University of Las Palmas
• Prof Patrice Tran Ba Huy – President of the French National Academy of Medicine
• Prof Manuel Manrique Rodríguez – Head of Otorhinolaryngology, University Hospital of Navarra, Spain

The workshop will include eight sessions covering a wide range of cutting-edge topics, including global audiology and middle ear surgery, cochlear implants and hearing aids, balance disorders and more.

Topics will focus on audiology, middle ear surgery, cochlear implants, and hearing aids. Esteemed experts from Slovakia, France, Spain, Australia, Turkey, Southeast Asia, Vietnam, and beyond will join hundreds of ENT professionals to share knowledge and experiences.”

As part of the program, she will chair sessions and present key reports, including the global educational mission of IFOS, vestibular rehabilitation methods, principles of endoscopic ear surgery, cholesteatoma treatment and more.

International speakers will also share insights on topics such as cholesteatoma surgery and complications of cochlear implants.
