Seminar “Hysteroscopy For The Treatment Of Gynecologic Diseases”

On October 11, Prof. Lee Chyi-Long, MD, PhD, Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Association for Gynecologic Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Therapy (APAGE), along with leading Vietnamese experts in gynecologic endoscopy, will attend the “Hysteroscopy For The Treatment Of Gynecologic Diseases” seminar at Tam Anh General Hospital in HCMC.

This is the largest in-depth seminar on gynecologic endoscopic surgery ever held at the hospital.

Nguyen Ba My Nhi, MD, Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology Center at Tam Anh General Hospital in HCMC, and her surgical team will perform a live hysteroscopic surgery to treat a gynecological condition, with expert commentary from both domestic and international specialists.

The live demonstration will involve the removal of a uterine fibroid while preserving the uterus for a 49-year-old patient with a history of fibroids that have deformed the uterine cavity and caused persistent bleeding, severely impacting her quality of life.

The live surgical demonstration will feature discussion and analysis from top experts, including:

The live demonstration will be broadcast live from the endoscopy operating room at Tam Anh General Hospital in HCMC to an auditorium filled with local and international experts for real-time discussion and exchange.

The insights and discussions from leading experts and doctors will provide invaluable experience on endoscopic surgery techniques and treatment planning for gynecological conditions, allowing attending physicians to apply these learnings to their own clinical practices.

With extensive experience in organizing large-scale international scientific conferences, a fully equipped modern operating room, and a skilled team of OB/GYN, anesthesia, and intensive care professionals, the seminar will provide participants with a vivid, hands-on experience of the surgical procedure.

The hospital’s modern operating room is outfitted with advanced equipment, including a 4K endoscopy system that enables surgeons to clearly visualize anatomical structures. This high-definition imaging helps surgeons accurately target and remove gynecological tumors while minimizing damage to surrounding tissues, reducing complications, and shortening surgery time.

The seminar will bring together nearly 100 gynecologic endoscopy specialists from Vietnam and abroad.

During the seminar, experts will present papers and engage in discussions on compelling topics such as the latest advancements in hysteroscopic surgery, hysteroscopic surgery to treat cesarean scar defects, and the principles and techniques of hysteroscopic surgery.

Additionally, participating physicians will have the opportunity to receive hands-on training using modern endoscopic surgery models for practical instruction.
