Tam Anh General Hospital HCMC is the first private hospital in HCMC to meet the requirements for providing practice guidelines to doctors, nurses, and midwives as of July 24, 2024.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health has updated and published the list of medical facilities that meet the criteria for practice guidelines on July 24, 2024 (https://bit.ly/Danhsach-SoYteTPHCM-24-7). This complies with the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment of 2023 and Decree No. 96/2023/NĐ-CP dated December 30, 2023, which outlines specific provisions of the Law.

Among the 19 hospitals that meet the standards, Tam Anh General Hospital in HCMC is one of only three private hospitals on the list and the only non-public hospital authorized to provide practice guidelines for doctors, nurses, and midwives.

Assoc. Prof Tran Quang Binh, MD, PhD, Chief Medical Officer of Tam Anh General Hospital in HCMC, shared that the hospital has a team of experienced medical staff and lecturers who have taught at various institutes and universities. They directly supervise the practice for general nurses, midwives, and medical doctors who have not yet received their practice licenses.

“Tam Anh General Hospital in HCMC offers spacious facilities, modern equipment, and a qualified team of licensed professionals who can guide practice within their fields. We have been providing continuous medical services for over three years. Our instructors have also completed training in clinical teaching methods, as required by Circular No. 11/2019/TT-BYT dated June 17, 2019, from the Ministry of Health.

We have developed specific practice programs for each professional role, based on the curriculum from the Ministry of Health and the Department of Health. During the practice period, we include guidance on legal regulations related to medical examination and treatment, professional ethics, patient safety, and communication skills for medical practitioners,” Binh said.
